Character Interview: Mary Ellen/Squirt (sister of Jim the second)

How old are you? 11

What do you like to do in your spare time? I love running around in the woods, swimming in the Pawnee river, romping with the gang or our dogs, climbing trees, building forts, play fighting with my brother, and just about anything outdoors.

Any pet peeves? I get annoyed when people don’t want to do anything except just sit around.

Give me one interesting thing about yourself. I don’t really know, everyone says I’m a strange child, maybe because I’m such a tomboy. Oh, also, once during church when I was really little I accidentally puked on the elder’s wife’s head, who was sitting in the pew in front of us. Mom was really embarrassed and Dad was horrified. I don’t really remember though because I was only three. Jim told me.

Favorite color? Blue

Tell me about your family life. I live with my parents, big brother Jim, and baby Bobsy outside of Twin Pines. Dad’s really huggable and Mom makes the best food in the whole state. We have a little farm with our milk cows, pigs, chickens, dogs, and cats. We also grow corn in our field and Dad has a garden.

Future career plans? I love this neck of the woods so I wanna live here when I grow up. Maybe I’ll get married and run a farm.
